Job Description
TradeWinds Services Inc, located in Merrillville, has a full-time position for Accounts Payable Processor.  Responsibilities include: Prepare and perform check runs; reconcile accounts payable transactions; prepare analysis of accounts; maintain schedule/ledger for all reoccurring payable; maintain vendor accounts; review and verify invoices and check requests; receive, issue, and maintain ledger for all Purchase Order Requests; sort, code and match invoices, packing slips and purchase orders; track expenses and process expense reports; correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries; produce monthly reports; provide supporting documentation for audits; assist with month end closing; maintain compliance with required deadlines; and maintain all information with superior level of confidentiality.  Must be able to organize and prioritize; pay attention to detail and accuracy; have good problem-solving skills, ability to meet deadlines; and must be a team player.  
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent some college preferred.
Experience Required:  Knowledge of accounts payable, knowledge of general accounting procedures, knowledge of relevant accounting software proficient in data entry and management and 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience.
