We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their vehicle service needs while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Your expertise in automotive services will help facilitate effective communication between customers and our service technicians, ultimately enhancing the overall service experience.

Duties

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
  • Provide detailed explanations of recommended services, including oil changes, shocks and struts replacement, and suspension work.
  • Collaborate with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, and cash handling transactions.
  • Assist in managing the service writing process to ensure clarity and transparency for customers regarding their vehicle's status.
  • Promote services and automotive sales opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on building rapport with clients.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems, including brakes, shocks, struts, and suspension components.
  • Experience in service writing or working closely with service technicians is preferred.
  • Proficient in cash handling procedures to manage transactions effectively.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers without automotive knowledge.
  • Familiarity with operations and automotive processes is a plus.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing exceptional customer care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $31,200.00 - $52,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
